The title itself demands an appreciation Shadow of the Tomb Raider but it occurs that developers were either too busy working on graphics or they had restricted timelines to cache their arsenal. Rise of Tomb Raider enthralled us with its beauty and satisfied the fans by providing necessary action and depth in the story. Shadow of the Tomb Raider is consumed by lack of action and prolonged cutscenes with no real charm. An addition to this part is advance level stealth. Lara disguises so well that swaying eyes from your screen even for a moment won’t let you find her in the backdrop.
This time Lara resides in Peru where she is after yet another artifact which is obviously tracked by infamous Trinity, so the balance hangs between Trinity and her. Apart from all the critiques, this venture brings back amazing water physics where there are certain situations Lara has gone deep underwater and found colossal tombs and ancient buildings by crossing the water horizons. The game portrays a lot of scenic views and if you are a Tarzan fan you will enjoy the portions where we are deep in a jungle and fighting humans alongside wild beasts.

The game begins with an iconic disastrous situation, captivating and at the same time intense flashbacks that seem very realistic, continuous with previous parts, creative. Lara is a lot more confident as well. Paititi is an ancient city which leads to mysteries and finding hidden artifacts which were hidden by the old civilization and we have to get them before they fall in wrong hands. The path leads to steep climbing, long tunnels, solving puzzles to escape death traps and many more obstacles, but we keep on going with a gun and bow & arrow for combat.
All in all, it could have been really very fantastic but game misses the charm it contained throughout in Rise of Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider. Unlike other two games in the franchise this game is an open-world action-adventure where there is so much to explore and so much to carve out which needs patience and taste for an open-world game. We can change outfits, buy and sell items to the merchants who are located throughout Paititi. Another new aspect in game is advanced weapons that provide similar to real-life fighting experience but we seldom get those situations in the game. Stealth killings are really well crafted inside the game.

The game provides us good captivating battles and gruesome murders in the name of sacrifices of the rebellions against Trinity but still, this game could have been far more intense and in the Era of competition we can’t miss out on anything. In the side missions, we see some glitches which may cause the gamer to lose interest but overall it’s a good game to play but not the best. Let’s hope Lara gets better and violent in the parts to come.
