After the huge success of Injustice game made out of our favorite superheroes, DC and NetherRealm decided to take it a notch ahead by introducing the part 2 of this incredible game. It was a new experience with improved graphics and a mixture of some of the old and new characters from DC Universe. Here we will discuss the mobile version of Injustice 2 which has got us hooked for over a year.
The game launched on May 11, 2017 and was instantly downloaded by DC fans all over the world and mobile gamers who do not have a clue about what DC is. The game was launched with league mode locked and all original DC character. As the game progressed, Injustice 2 has come a long way from what it was in the beginning. They have introduced a lot of new features and characters.
Initial roster of Injustice 2 was way small and as previous said, based on all DC characters. As the game progressed, roster increased with other NetherRealm games’ characters such as Raiden and Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat. They also kept introducing same characters’ iterations with different powers and special abilities from the DC movies. After leagues were introduced in December 2017, the game went under following major changes.
- Shard exchange was introduced.
- Characters could be upgraded to 6 stars instead of 5.
- Characters themselves and their abilities could be upgraded to Level 70 instead of 60.
- Orbs were introduced to upgrade the character to 6 stars.
- Characters’ attack was given the equal precedence as to defense.
The changes have received both negative and positive feedback from its users and albeit Injustice 2 has failed to beat its predecessor’s score, it is still one of the top games available on App Store and Play Store. Building a roster is difficult if one does not use the In-App Purchases but it is worthwhile the effort and the joy you get out of it. Not to forget the cool supermoves of all characters never gets old for the players to watch. We love Injustice 2 and we play it everyday. What do you think of the game?
