If you’re a fan of fight between Batman vs Robin, Titans finale is for you. Titans has lifted the hopes of many DC fans who had given up on any cinematic come back by their favorite comic publisher. The ups and downs in the series and how the characters have come together to form a team has been remarkable. After the low ratings of recent multiple DC superhero TV shows in the Arrowverse by CW, Netflix has done a tremendous job in balancing the DC’s ratings.
As the season has come to a close, the season finale has been of much discussion. Trailer begins by Robin (Dick Grayson) being approached by Batman’s new prodigy Jason Todd, who has taken Grayson’s place as the new Robin, to inform him of Batman’s intention of killing Joker. It looks like Batman has become a rogue assassin, a killing machine and vigilante in a true sense who is wreaking havoc on anyone standing in his way of inflicting vengeance and implying justice.
We see Grayson struggling to decide whether he should stop Batman from his moral decay or let him go down this path of brutality. He clearly is talked into saving him by Dove (Dawn Granger). We see the result of Batman’s massacre all over the city and Dick Grayson trying to digest the situation while trying to figure out how to get himself and Batman out of this mess. After looking at the video, there are plenty of questions that arise in our head such as How is it linked with the previous episode? What has gotten into Batman to let go of his No Kill policy? Will Dick Grayson be able to stop him?
If Robin wants to stop Batman, he will have to think of something other than going in a fist fight with DC’s favorite.
If Robin goes up against Batman, it will be an although one sided fight, we would still like to see it pan out. There is no way Robin can ever beat Batman in hand to hand combat, strategies, tech and weapons. Batman has taken on DC’s baddest super villains and has come out victorious. A Batman vs Robin fight seems like a joke after everything Batman has under his belt (pun intended). If Robin wants to stop Batman, he will have to think of something other than going in a fist fight with DC’s favorite. Considering this scenario, Batman vs Robin seems unlikely to go as a balanced combat no matter how much we would like to see it.
The only plausible explanation of how it can be linked with the previous episode is that Trigon has gotten into Robin’s thoughts and everything we have seen in the trailer is what Trigon is making him see. It could be his plan to sabotage the Titans’ to form a team and also to turn Robin into a weapon. He could manipulate Robin’s action and easily use him as a pawn in the grand scheme of destruction he has planned for Earth.
We are excited to see the turn of events in the last episode of this season. Let us wait and for another day to see how the circumstances unfold and on how high of a note do they end the season. We expect to see Titans becoming a team by the end of the season and ready to fight the other monsters or villains that stand in their way. We hope this season brings good things for DC’s future in TV and Cinema.
